Dr. Jari Vepsäläinen received his BSc, MSc, and DSc degrees at Aalto University in 2014, 2016, and 2019, respectively. During his Bachelor and Masters studies, he concurrently worked as a research assistant in the Fluid Power laboratory. Jari is currently continuing his academic career as a post-doctoral researcher at Aalto University, a position he just started in 2020. He has a background in electric vehicles and uncertainty quantification. Dr. Vepsäläinen has also done work in various data science projects and around machine learning topics. During his doctoral studies, he was also involved in course planning and assisting in the teaching of mechatronics, which is currently his main responsibility.
