Lixian Sun is a professor at the Guilin University of Electronic Technology of China. He worked at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2001 to 2012 as a professor. He received his bachelor’s degree from Hunan University in 1984, an M.Sc. in 1987, and a Ph.D. in 1994. He received a fellowship from the Humboldt Foundation from 1995 to 1996. He held the NEDO, STA, an AIST fellowships at the National Institute of AIST Tsukuba Center (Japan) from 1996 to 2001. He is currently focused on research in energy storage, especially hydrogen storage materials, biofuel cells, thermochemistry, and sensors.
