Prof. Haisheng Zhen is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Hainan University. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Jilin University, a master’s degree from Harbin Institute of Technology, and a doctorate from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His research areas include efficient utilization of clean energy and energy conversion, new energy power systems and equipment, hydrogen storage, transportation, purification, and hydrogen safety. He has been engaged in research on combustion energy conversion, utilization, and energy conservation and emission reduction for many years, and has published a total of 45 SCI papers, including a total of 36 SCI papers in international journals such as Applied Energy, Energy, Fuel, International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, and Energy Conversion & Management. He has published one academic monograph and obtained three utility model patents. He is a member of the Hong Kong Institution of Mechanical Engineers and one of the first backbone members of the Hainan Association for Science and Technology. He has been awarded the titles of “Nanhai Famous Artist (Youth)” in Hainan Province, Hainan Province’s Top Talent, and Hainan University-level Class C Talent.
