Longxiang Su is an assistant Chief Physician at the
Department of Critical Care Medicine, Peking Union Medical College Hospital,
Beijing, China. He is also a secretary of the National Center for Quality
Control of Critical Care Medicine. He specializes in respiratory critical
illness and critical care hemodynamics. His main research directions are
clinical and basic research on sepsis and multiple organ dysfunction and
support, as well as the research and development of big data and artificial
intelligence in critical illness. As the person in charge, he has completed and
is currently carrying out a number of national, provincial, and
ministerial-level research projects such as the National Natural Science
Foundation/Youth Project, the Beijing Natural Science Foundation Project,
Capital Characteristic Clinical Research, and the Wu Jieping Foundation
Project. In 2019 and 2021, he won the third and second prizes of the Peking
Union Medical College Hospital Medical Achievement Award as the first
applicant. He has won the Young Researcher Award in Critical Care Medicine of the
Chinese Medical Association, the Young Scholar Award of the European
Respiratory Society, the first prize of the Chinese Medical Science and
Technology Award, etc.
