Dongmei Ai is currently a Professor in the School of Mathematics and Physics at the University
of Science and Technology Beijing. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the Department
of Automation, Shandong University of Technology in 1991, and earned her MA and
Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Beijing
University of Science and Technology in 2005 and 2014, respectively. She was
also a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Biology, University of Southern
California, USA from 2011 to 2012. Her main research interests include Bioinformatics;
Machine Learning and Healthcare Big Data Analytics; Mathematical Modeling and
Computational Biology; and Materials Informatics.
