Dr. Krishnaswamy is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American College of Chest Physicians, the American College of Physicians, and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. He has also been the recipient of the Dean's Teaching and the Medicine Department's Best Faculty Awards. Dr. Krishnaswamy has published over 160 manuscripts that have appeared in numerous peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Immunology, Critical Care Medicine, British Heart Journal, Southern Medical Journal, New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, Annals of Internal Medicine, American Review of Respiratory Molecular Cell Biology, Chest, and Science. He has contributed to over 30 book chapters in the area of inflammation biology. He is the author of two books, one being an edited autobiography of his father, Dr. N. Krishnaswamy, who recently passed away, and the other named Human Mast Cells- Materials and Methods (Humana Press).
