Xu Wang is Professor in Engineering, RMIT University, Australia. He is a Fellow member of Society of Automotive Engineers, a Fellow member of Institute Engineers, Australia, Chartered Professional Engineer (Engineering Executive). He has been awarded with Ph.D. Degree (Monash University, Australia) in 1995, Master-Degree of Science in 1988, & Bachelor-Degree of Engineering, in 1985 (Tianjin University, China). Xu Wang has published 3 Books, 123 journal papers and 40 conference papers and awarded one ARC Discovery grant and two ARC Linkage grants, three AUTOCRC grants, one DMTC project grant and one Road Safety Innovation Fund. He was awarded 1 European patent, 1 German patent and 3 Australian Provisional Patents. He has been awarded with six SEH teaching prizes. Xu’s favorite sports are swimming, tennis, table tennis and football. He was awarded the Engineers Australia Excellence Award - finalist for the Australian Professional Engineer of the Year in 2021 and 2023.
