Régis Leveugle received a PhD in Microelectronics from INPG, France, in 1990. He is a professor at Grenoble INP – UGA and a member of the TIMA laboratory. He has authored or co-authored more than 250 scientific papers and is a co-holder of one patent and one software deposit. He served as a reviewer or program committee member for numerous journals and conferences. He presented more than 10 tutorials at international conferences and served in 17 organization committees for national or international events, in positions including General co-Chair (DFT'02), Vice General Chair (IOLTW'02), Program co-Chair, Vice Program Chair, Award Chair, Industrial Liaison co-Chair, AV Chair, Publicity co-Chair, Tutorial Chair, Special Session co-Chair and User Forum co-Chair. He also served as Topic Chair, especially for the IEEE European Test Symposium, and he was guest editor of 3 special issues in international journals. He has been a member of the French national evaluation committee for projects on "Security and Computer Science" (2003-2007) and contributed to many national, European and industrial projects. He is a senior member of IEEE. He received two awards from the IEEE Computer Society and a Research Award from CISCO and the Silicon Valley Community Foundation. His main interests are computer architecture, integrated system design methods and tools, dependability analysis, and digital system design for reliability, safety and security.
