Marios Sekadakis is a Civil and Transportation Engineer and Research Associate at the Department of Transportation Planning and Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). In 2020, he graduated in Civil Engineering from NTUA, majoring in Transportation Engineering. In 2026, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation at NTUA, titled “Safety Assessment and Behaviour Modelling of Take-Over Dynamics in Automated Driving”. His research focuses on road safety, automated driving, and human-machine interaction, behavioral analysis, data-driven modeling, and traffic simulation. With over six years of research experience, he has authored 23 peer-reviewed journal papers, 3 book chapters, and 21 conference papers, and actively contributes to the CCAM Association as NTUA’s representative
