Prof. Dr. Kui Wang is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Central South University. He earned a BS from Wuhan University of Technology in 2007 and an MS and a PhD from Strasbourg University in 2009 and 2013, respectively. He is a senior member and council member of several organizations, including the Society for Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Engineering (SAMPE). Additionally, he serves as the editor of Composite Structures and Transportation Safety and Environment. His research interests cover integrated innovative design and manufacturing of rail transit materials and structures, service safety of rail transit materials and structures throughout their life cycle, 3D-printing technology and product design evaluation, and multi-scale design of material structures.
