My name is Michael Kögel, and I am a Research Assistant at the Institute of Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management at Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm. I earned my B.Eng. in August 2015 and my M.Eng. in December 2017 from the same university.
Since January 2018, I have been working at the institute, focusing on hydraulic engineering, remote sensing (photogrammetry), and (3D) numerical simulations. My research interests include the application of remote sensing technologies for hydrological studies and flood risk assessment.
I am a member of GERCOLD and DGPF, and I actively contribute to the advancement of hydraulic modeling and geospatial analysis.
