B. Pereiras obtained a Mechanical Engineering degree was obtained in 2004 at the University of Oviedo. His PhD was received from University of Valladolid in 2008. He has worked at the Fluids Mechanics Department if the University of Oviedo from 2004 to 2007 as a researcher and from 2011 to nowadays as an Associate Professor. From 2007 to 2010 worked as a lecturer at the University of Valladolid. He also worked as a researcher in Arcelor-Mittal from 2010 to 2011. Research work has been developed in fields as aeroacoustics in turbomachines, turbines for wave energy, drying/cooling systems in steel workshops and nozzles.
