Hisayo Yokoyama received her Ph.D. degree in 2005 from Osaka City University Graduate School of Medicine, Japan. She is a medical doctor/diabetologist and is currently a Professor at the Research Center for Urban Health and Sports at Osaka Metropolitan University, Japan. Her research interests include energy metabolism during exercise, promoting healthy aging through physical activity, and dietary support for para-athletes.
