Dr. Yousef Alhaj Hamoud is affiliated with Hohai University, Nanjing, China, and University of Aleppo, Aleppo, Syria. He obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from the Department of Soil and Land Reclamation, Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, Aleppo University, Aleppo, Syria in 2010. In 2017, he obtained his Master of Science (M.Sc.) from the College of Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering, Hohai University. Then, in 2018, he was affiliated as an academic researcher with the College of Agricultural Science and Engineering, Hohai University and completed his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in 2022. His research interests are soil, plant, and water relationships; water use efficiency; smart, chemical, and bio-fertilizers; plant physiology; crop productivity and quality; cellulosic hydrogels applications in agriculture and environment; biochar; nano-materials; irrigation and water use; soil and water remediation; heavy metals, environmental pollution; chemigation; fertigation and salinization of soil.
