Antonio Thomas is an Associate Professor in Business Administration and Accounting at the Department of Business and Economics of University of Naples Parthenope, Italy. He previously worked for ten years at the National Research Council. His current fields of scientific interest are the creation and management of start-ups and SMEs, with particular reference to innovative ones, the processes for the emergence of entrepreneurship, and the social and integrate report for the evaluation of companies’ performances also from the environmental, social, and competitive perspectives. He is the author of over 150 articles in national and international journals, including seven books and research reports on the mentioned issues. Moreover, he has also carried out many research projects for public and private institutions, is reviewer for some international journals, and teaches in upper education courses on managerial and business issues.
