Le Yu is an Associate Professor with Department of Earth System Science at Tsinghua University. He received bachelor and PhD degrees in the School of Earth Science, Zhejiang University, and did his postdoc in Tsinghua University, and then became a faculty member in the current department. He has been working on the geospatial information system, remote-sensing image analysis, land use monitoring, historical/future land use modeling, and its applications in food security, sustainable development.
