M. R. Mozafari is an expert on nano-biotechnology and the encapsulation and targeting of bioactive agents. He received his Ph.D. in Major Pharmacy from the Liverpool John Moores University in 2005. He works in Australasian Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Initiative (ANNI) since 2009. He has produced a substantial number of publications, including patents, books, and several book chapters; is the author of the first book on nanoliposomes. He has completed many industrial research projects and developed methods (e.g., the “Mozafari Method”) for the large-scale manufacture of controlled-release systems without the use of toxic agents; and recently introduced a novel technology for the encapsulation and delivery of bioactive material called "Tocosome".
