Giulio Vignoli graduated in Physics at the University of Ferrara and received a PhD in Applied Geophysics from the same institution with a thesis focusing on inversion strategies. He is currently Associate Professor at the University of Cagliari and Adjunct Senior Researcher at the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS). Before that, he worked at Aarhus University (Denmark), KFUPM (Saudi Arabia), the University of Padua (Italy), and the University of Utah (USA). His research interests include near-surface characterization especially with airborne electromagnetic and seismic surface wave methods.
