Miguel Díaz-Rodríguez received his Mechanical Engineering degree from the Universidad de los Andes, Venezuela, in 2000. He completed his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de València in 2009. He is currently a Full Professor and Head of the School of Mechanical Engineering at the Universidad de los Andes, Venezuela. He was a Visiting Research at the University of New Brunswick Fredericton, Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira, and the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. His research is focused on parallel manipulators, parameter identification and developing mechatronics systems, and dynamic modeling.
