Riyad Dhuny received his honours degree in Software Engineering from the University of Technology, Mauritius (UTM) in 2006, followed by a master's in Software Engineering and a Ph.D. in the field of computing. After initially serving as a systems analyst for the UTM, he transitioned to academia and was promoted to senior lecturer in 2024. Dr. Dhuny expanded his collaborative network through visiting scholarships at the Centre for the Development of Advanced Computing (India, 2017) and the East China University of Science and Technology (2024). His research interests include edge computing, performance optimization, machine learning, computer vision, the IoT, and artificial intelligence.
