Diego Francisco Larios obtained his Ph.D. degree in Industrial Computer Science from the University of Seville in 2015. He has a degree in Industrial Electronic Engineering and a degree in Automatic Control and Industrial Electronics, both from the University of Seville, Spain (in 2006 and 2009, respectively). He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electronic Technology at the University of Seville, where he teaches classes related to embedded systems, the IoT, automation and control. His main fields of interest are the IoT, computer vision, computational intelligence, low-power embedded devices, smart cities, and automation.
