I am Susanna Mört, PhD, nurse and teacher. I work as a principal lecturer at Turku University of Applied Sciences in the health and well-being sector, working closely with education and research. I have extensive experience in developing teaching and learning environments. I am particularly interested in new pedagogical methods and the use of technology in education and healthcare. I am actively involved in various projects, both national and international RDI projects. In the Dignified Old Age research group, I am working to strengthen competence in gerontological nursing and to increase the appreciation of work with the elderly. The research group studies and develops care for the elderly, taking into account the importance of competent and well-being care staff in a changing world with age-related technologies. The group also aims to increase the value and research value of elderly care and the attraction and retention of gerontology.
