Dr. Fabio Luino is a geologist who graduated in 1987. He has been a Senior Researcher for over 30 years at CNR IRPI, specializing in applied geomorphology. He primarily deals with geo-hydrological risks, focusing on extreme events affecting urban centers. His work involves analyzing urban growth to identify common errors and the lack of proper land planning. He has published over 100 papers and obtained a Master’s degree in Disaster Management. Additionally, he teaches courses at universities and local authorities and has supervised several dozen theses by geology students. He runs two very large Facebook groups: "Geo-hydrological processes" and "Urban planning blunders.”
