Dr. Xiaofei Tian is an Associate Professor at the School of Biology and Biological Engineering at the South China University of Technology. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2013 and completed a 2-year postdoctoral research program at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, Canada. His research interests include biorefinery, biotechnology for food processing, and fermentation techniques for fungal secondary metabolites. He has published over 30 journal papers and holds more than 6 Chinese patents.
