Yucang Liang received his Dr. rer. nat. degree in Materials Science in 2005 from TU Munich, Germany. After performing his post doctorate at the University of Bergen in Norway, he joined the Department of Chemistry of Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen and independently developed his research in 2010. His professional interests include coordination chemistry and the preparation and characterization of (non)porous nanoscale materials with designable topologies and controllable particle sizes, as well as their applications in catalysis, energy, biomedicine, and the environment. He has published more than 100 research articles in professional journals, including Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Adv. Energy Mater., Appl. Catal. B Environ., Nano Energy, Small, Chem.
