Mr. Xiaolong Yuan

Xiaolong Yuan is an associate professor and a master's tutor at the School of Animal Science, South China Agricultural University. His research direction is livestock functional genomics and bioinformatics. He was selected for the "Young Talent Promotion Project" of the China Association for Science and Technology and the winner of the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation's Outstanding Youth Project. He obtained a Bachelor at South China Agricultural University in Animal Science from 2007 to 2011 and a Master's and PhD in Breeding and Reproduction at South China Agricultural University, Animal Genetics, from 2011 to 2017. He obtained joint doctoral training in Denmark in animal epigenetics at the University of Copenhagen from 2016 to 2017.
