Prof. Lei Deng received his PhD degree in Computer
Application Technology from Tongji University in 2012 and was a postdoctoral
researcher at Columbia University. Currently, he is a professor at the School
of Computer Science and Engineering, Central South University. He is also a
member of the program committee of APBC, GIW, ISBRA, and BIBM, the first
members of the Bioinformatics Committee of the China Computer Federation, and a
member of the Bioinformatics and Artificial Life Committee of the Chinese
Association for Artificial Intelligence. His research interests mainly focus on
big data mining, biocomputing, intelligent diagnosis and treatment, and
JavaEE/C#/iOS/Android/WeChat application development.
