Dr. Laxman Khanal is an Associate Professor at the Central Department of Zoology, Institute of Science and Technology, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal. He obtained his PhD in Molecular Ecology and Evolution from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China in 2018. His research topics mainly include biodiversity and molecular ecology, phylogenetics, phylogeography, wildlife management, animal behavior, genomics, DNA sequencing, biostatistics, and gene expression. Dr. Khanal is also an Editorial Board Member of several journals, including Zoological Research, Zoological Research Diversity and Conservation, Indonesian Journal of Primatology, and Nepalese Journal of Zoology.
