Dr. Xuefeng Wang is a Distinguished Professor at the School of Chemical Science and Engineering, Tongji University, Shanghai China. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Northwest Normal University and finished his Ph.D. studies in Physical Chemistry at Fudan University. He served as an associate professor at the Chemical Department of Fudan University, China and a postdoctoral researcher and senior research scientist at the Chemical Department of the University of Virginia. He led the Study on the Transition Metal Borides and Their Reactions funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China (Approval No. 22273066, 2023/1–2026/12 ), Hydrogen Bridged Bonds in Ternary Metal Hydrides (Approval No. 21873070, 2019/1–2022/12), CO2 Reduced by Metal Hydrides in Solid Parahydrogen Matrix (Approval No. 20973126, 2014/1–2017/12). Acetylene/Vinylidene Rearrangement: Matrix Infrared Spectra and Theoretical Calculations (Approval No. 21173158, 2012/1–2015/12) Furthermore, his research interests include laser-ablated metal atom reactions with small molecules in low-temperature matrix; laser-ablated materials, such as metal oxides, nitride, and carbides deposited on a substrate for electrodes and catalyzers; and laser-ablated metal atoms deposited on a substrate for SERS (Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering).
