Iacopo Chiodini is president of the Italian Society of Osteoporosis, Mineral Metabolism and Skeletal Diseases. Curently, he is Diretctor of the Endocrine Unit at the Niguarda Hospital in Milan Since 2018 to 2022, Chiodini has served as the head of the Clinical and Research Center of Bone Metabolism and Diabetology at the Italian Auxological Institute.From 2006 to 2018,he served as medical director at the Complex Operating Unit of Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases of the IRCCS Cà Granda Foundation in Milan (since 2008 with a highly specialized executive position and since 2014 with a professional service executive position). From 1999 to 2005, Chiodini was Medical Director at the Endocrinology Operating Unit, San Giuseppe-Fatebenefratelli Hospital in Milan. He helped at the Endocrinology Division of the "Casa Sollievo della Soflievo" Hospital in San Giovanni Rotondo (Foggia) from 1995 to 1999. Chiodini works on diabetes and osteoporosis secondary to endocrine diseases. This also deals with metabolic diseases of the bone, parathyroid and adrenal glands.
