Prof. Dr. Xiefa Song received his B.Sc. degree from Dalian University of Technology, in 1987, his M.Sc. degree from Ocean University of China, in 1993, and his Ph.D. degree from Ocean University of China, in 2006. Since 2003, he has been a Professor at Ocean University of China. He is a Doctoral Supervisor and Vice Dean. His research interests include facility fisheries, fishing vessels and fishing machinery. His research areas mainly involve land-based factory farming engineering technology, offshore farming engineering technology and equipment, smart fisheries, recirculating aquaculture engineering technology, aquaculture tailwater treatment technology and engineering, etc.
