Prof. Davide Mombelli

Graduated in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano in 2010, Davide Mombelli received the PhD title in Mechanical Engineering in 2014 with a thesis focused on the exploitation and recovery of slag from electrical steelworks. On 1st February 2015, he joined as Junior Researcher at the Mechanical Department of PoliMi. Since 3rd December 2018, he joined as Senior Researcher at the same institution, where his research focuses on the characterization, treatment and exploitation of metallurgical and iron and steel by-products (slag, dust, sludge, …).
