Dr. Baozhong Zhang is a Deputy Director at the Water
Resources Institute. He completed his PhD studies in Agricultural Soil and
Water Engineering at the China Agricultural University, and has been awarded
the 2011 National Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award. He has published
over 110 papers in various journals and serves as the Head of Key Programs of
the National Natural Science Foundation of China. His research topics mainly
include Irrigation, Sensitivity, Water Use Efficiency, Groundwater Level,
Water Supply Reliability, and Agricultural Water Consumption.
