Dr. Sandro Finardi is a project manager and coordinator of R&D activities at ARIANET Srl in Milan, Italy. He completed his Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Milan. His early career experience was gained at ENEL S.p.A. research centers (CISE, ENEL/Ricerca, and CESI), which he further developed at ARIANET. His research interests include atmospheric boundary layer parameterisation, surface–atmosphere interactions, and diagnostic and prognostic meteorological modelling, with a focus on scales ranging from mesoscale to local scale in complex terrain and urban environments.
