Dr. Yixiang Liao finished her school and university in China in nuclear science and engineering. She earned her Ph.D in multiphase computational fluid dynamics (CFD) at the Dresden University of Technology. Since 2007, Dr. Yixiang Liao has been working as a research fellow at the Institute of Fluid Dynamics of Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden – Rossendorf (HZDR). Her major research interests include multiphase CFD and model development related to bubble dynamics such as nucleation, growth and collapse, coalescence and breakup, phase change, and interfacial transfer processes.
