Prof. Kiyotaka Sasagawa received his B.S. degree from Kyoto University in 1999 and his M.E. and Ph.D. degrees from the Nara Institute of Science and Technology in 2001 and 2004, respectively. From 2004 to 2008, he was a researcher with the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology. In 2008, he joined the Nara Institute of Science and Technology as an assistant professor. In 2018, he won the Poster Award from the Japanese Society of Applied Physics.
