First degree in Land Improvements and Agricultural Engineering (AUA, 1986); M.Sc. (Wye College, University of London, U.K., 1988); Ph.D. (AUA, 2002). Massas Ioannis specializes in soil science with emphasis on heavy-metal evaluation, has supervised 2 Ph.D. projects, over 6 M.Sc. theses and over 50 undergraduate dissertations ,and has over 100 publications.
