Zixuan Qiu, born in 1991, male, is a Associate Professor / Doctoral Supervisor in Hainan University, deputy director of Intelligent Forestry Key Laboratory of Haikou City, deputy director of Committee of Surveying and Mapping Education of Hainan Society of Surveying and Mapping Geographic Information, and class D talents of Sanya Yazhou Bay Technology City. In July 2014, Qiu graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Engineering degree. In July 2019, Qiu graduated from Beijing Forestry University in Forestry Equipment and Informatization (continuous academic programme that involves both postgraduate and doctoral degree in Geographic Information Science) and obtained a doctor’s degree in Engineering. Qiu’s research interests are Forest Informatics and Plant Phenomics. Qiu presided over 7 scientific research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Hainan Provincial Key Research and Development Plan of China, the Hainan Provincial Natural Science Foundation of China and so on. As the first author or corresponding author, Qiu published 8 SCI articles and 2 EI / CSCD articles in journals such as JCLP (IF = 11.072) and RS (IF = 5.349), authorized 19 Chinese invention patents, and won 5 science and technology awards such as "Second prize of Beijing Science and Technology Award" and "China Patent Excellence Award".
