The low predictability of the effects of autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) in regenerative therapy for patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) underscores the need for further research assessing the reparative effects of PRP based on the type of DM. The aim of this study was to evaluate the regenerative potential of PRP from young donors (30–40 years old) with DM1 and DM2 in vitro, specifically its effects on human dermal fibroblast cell culture. The in vitro effects of PRP from patients with type 1 and type 2 DM were investigated using a culture of human dermal fibroblasts (hTERT-HDFa) to evaluate metabolic activity, migration, proliferation of the cells, and their ability to release growth factors and exosomes. The study of the biological effects of PRP from donors with DM on hTERT-HDFa revealed a decrease in proliferative effects, an increase in prooxidant action, and toxic influences of PRP from patients, characterized by reduced metabolic activity and cell viability in culture, along with an increase in the percentage of necrosis. These effects were most pronounced in type 1 DM. The secretory response of hTERT-HDFa upon stimulation with PRP varied depending on the type of DM. Correlations indicated the differing significance of PAI-1, TGFB-1, PDGF, VEGF, and IL-6 in assessing the reparative potential across different types of DM.

Introduction. Nutrition is an integral part of our lives, ensuring harmonious growth, functioning of organs and body’s resistance to external factors. However, many people of working age neglect the principles of rational nutrition, which leads to disorders of the immune system and chronic diseases. Special attention should be paid to the nutrition of students. Lack of time, exhaustion of the body, lack of sleep, increased stress on the mental state, especially during the session – all these factors can lead to diseases. The purpose of the study is to conduct a hygienic assessment of the vitamin status of students, taking into account the symptoms of vitamin deficiency and dietary characteristics. Materials and Methods. The study, which was conducted using an online questionnaire in Google forms, involved 208 students of the Faculty of Economics. They were asked to answer questions about their diet and vitamin deficiency symptoms. The study was conducted outside the examination period. Results. It turned out that 78% of students do not have a deficiency of vitamins A, D, K, B2, C, while only 34% of respondents rate their vitamin status as “excellent”. Vitamin A deficiency has become the most common problem. Vitamin B2 deficiency, on the contrary, was observed in more than 90% of students. Only 25% of students have a diet that can be described as “rational”. Legumes, liver, and bread products made from coarse flour turned out to be rarely consumed products. The most common products were milk and dairy products. Discussion and Conclusion. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that students have a discrepancy in the intake of various nutrients. More than 90% of all students have a deficiency of biologically active substances in one form or another. The results of the study can be used to create recommendations for raising awareness among young people about vitamins and their practical use, as well as for further research in this area.

Platform cooperation is a new, innovative model within digital entrepreneurship that combines collaborative consumption and production, with the value generated being distributed equitably among participants. Cooperative platforms are oriented toward creating long-term public, environmental, and economic benefits and outcomes. Within this model of digital entrepreneurship, social, environmental, and economic objectives are integrated into business activities. Through such an innovative model of platform cooperation, it becomes possible to influence the redistribution of profits, reduce risks, and enhance adaptability. These characteristics substantiate the need to study this model of digital entrepreneurship as a foundation for a promising direction in the digital economy. Advanced digital platforms tend to concentrate benefits and control in the hands of a limited group of stakeholders, which leads to unequal profit distribution. This approach contributes to market monopolization and adversely affects workers' rights.

Objective. To study reparative potential (cellular effects and biological characteristics) of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) in patients with acute appendicitis (AA). Material and methods. PRP was obtained by two-stage centrifugation of blood from patients with AA and healthy donors divided into age groups: group 1 (n=10) — healthy donors aged 30—40 years, group 2 (n=10) — healthy donors aged 60—70 years, group 3 (n=10) — patients with AA aged 30—40 years, group 4 (n=10) — patients with AA aged 60—70 years. The study was performed using hTERT-HDFa (d220) cell line of human dermal fibroblasts (HDF). Activated 10% PRP from donors was added to experimental wells. Samples without PRP were negative control (0 (K)), PRP samples with addition of 10% FBS — positive control. Metabolic activity of cells, viability of samples, ability to generate reactive oxygen species (ROS), migration activity and intensity of cellular aging were assessed. Biological characteristics of PRP were defined by ELISA of IL6, IL10, TGFB1, PAI-1, PDGF, VEGF proteins. Results. PRP from elderly patients with AA was characterized by elevated IL6 and IL10 relative to young patients with this pathology and increased TGFβ relative to healthy peers. On the first day after HDF stimulation with plasma, the lowest viability was found in samples stimulated with PRP from health elderly donors. There were no significant differences among patients with AA regardless of age. After 3 days, we observed high proliferative and metabolic activity of cells after stimulation with plasma from AA patients regardless of age. Antioxidant reserve of PRP in elderly patients with AA was significantly lower than in young patients with AA. Correlation analysis revealed significant relationships between biological profile of PRP, cellular responses and clinical data of patients with AA of different ages. Conclusion. When comparing cellular responses with clinical data of patients, we found that significant prognostic markers of PRP in AA were IL6, IL10 and TGFβ. Their levels correlated with postoperative hospital-stay. Moreover, high IL6 and IL10 was associated with prolonged hospital-stay in elderly patients.

One of the priorities of the state’s activities is to preserve the lives of the younger generation. But today, the state of students’ health is causing concern. Increasingly, people with impaired health, chronic diseases, and limited body functions are being identified. The aim of the study was to investigate the health indicators of 2nd and 3rd year students of the Ogarev Mordovia State University Medical Institute, and to formulate conclusions about their condition. Material and methods . 129 students aged 19–20 years – 56 girls and 73 boys – were studied. The respondents were divided into 3 groups: K1 (people with body weight deficiency, without bad habits), O1 (a control group, students without body weight deficiency and without bad habits) and E1 (respondents with bad habits, without exhaustion). The main indicators of physical development were considered: height, body weight, chest circumference, ideal body weight, waist and hip circumference, type of adipose tissue distribution, strength of the flexor muscles of the hands and the strength index of the muscles of the leading hand. The state of the cardiovascular system was assessed by determining heart rate, systolic (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) measured by the Korotkov method, minute blood volume (MBV), pulse blood pressure (PP), endurance coefficient (EC), the double product index (DPI) were calculated, and for the respiratory system, vital capacity (VC), forced vital capacity (FVC), forced expiratory volume in 1 s (FEV1), minute ventilation (MV), Tiffno index were taken into account. Results and discussion . In the O1 group, 87.5 % of students are characterized by average physical development, 12.5 % of students have above average physical development. 100 % of the K1 group students have disharmonious physical development. In the E1 group, 95 % of students have disproportionate and disharmonious physical development due to excess body weight, while 5 % have average physical development. In those students who abused nicotine or were underweight, there were statistically significant differences in the indicators of VC, FVC, FEV1, MV, Tiffno index, heart rate, SBP, DBP, PP, FVC, EC, DPI. Conclusions . Smoking and body weight deficiency reduce the functional capabilities of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. Specialists need to carefully monitor the indicators that form the basis of students’ health.

Background. Analysis of the relationship between mental disorders and cardiovascular diseases, the features of their diagnosis and treatment is a pressing issue. This is due to the high prevalence of comorbid patients, the severity of the course of combined pathologies and difficulties in treating patients. The purpose of the study is to increase physician awareness of the relationship between mental disorders and cardiovascular diseases, based on data on the biological, psychological, and social mechanisms of these comorbidities. Particular attention is paid to personalized diagnosis, multidisciplinary approaches to patient treatment, and the role of psychocardiological rehabilitation. Materials and Methods. A literature review was conducted using the E-library, PubMed, and Google Scholar platforms with the following keywords: “Cardiovascular pathologies”, “Mental disorders”, “Comorbidity’, “Pathogenesis of arterial hypertension”, “Psychodiagnostics”, “Cardiopsychology”, “Comprehensive approach”, “Multidisciplinary interaction”. A total of 58 sources were selected for the analysis of the stated problem. Results and conclusions. This review presents the current understanding of the relevance, pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of mental disorders and cardiovascular diseases (CVDs). Analysis of the scientific literature revealed significant gaps in current clinical practice, characterized by difficulties in the timely diagnosis of mental disorders in cardiac patients (and vice versa) due to symptom masking and the absence of routine screening. Therapy for such patients is also accompanied by challenges related to drug interactions and low patient compliance with treatment. Thus, there is a clear need for the implementation of a comprehensive approach to the diagnosis and treatment of this category of patients.
