Dr Xiao-Gang Zhou obtained his PhD from the State Key Laboratory of Crop Gene Exploration and Utilization in Southwest China, Sichuan Agricultural University, in 2017. In 2017, he was appointed as a associate professor at Southwest Medical University, engaging in the research field of bioactive components in natural medicines for anti-aging and various neurodegenerative diseases. Dr. Xiao-Gang Zhou is experienced in the identification of bioactive components in natural medicines and the effects and mechanism of action of drugs in aging and neurodegenerative diseases. He has published in over 20 peer-reviewed SCI journals including Cell, PNAS, Ageing Research Reviews, Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy, and Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B.
