Lei Zhang, Ph.D., is from Haimen, Jiangsu Province. He is a professor and doctoral supervisor for the Shanghai autonomous intelligent unmanned system science center / School of transportation engineering, Tongji University, a senior member of China computer society, senior member of China artificial intelligence society, and executive director of the national college of artificial intelligence and Big Data innovation alliance. His research direction is in intelligent information processing and spatiotemporal data application. In recent years, he has presided over or participated in about 10 national major engineering tasks, 863, 973, NSFC, national key R & D programs and local scientific research projects. He has applied for almost 20 national invention patents (including authorized) and published nearly 60 academic papers and three works.
