Prof. Dr. Yongli Bao is a professor at the National Engineering Laboratory for Drug Gene and Protein Screening, School of Life Sciences, Northeast Normal University. He received a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Medicine and a master’s degree from the Department of Immunology, Baikou’en Medical University, in 1991 and 1994, respectively. He received a Ph.D. from the Department of Immunology, Jilin University, in 2001. He received a Ph.D. from the Molecular Enzyme Research Center, University of Tokushima, Japan, in 2005. He is also the editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Immunology, World Journal of Cancer Research, and Journal of Research on Teaching Biology in Colleges and Universities. His research interests include gene function research, new drug screening for traditional Chinese medicine, and stem cell drug development and quality control.
