Dr. Yi-Che Shih is an Associate Professor of the Institute of Ocean Technology and Marine Affairs, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. His academic journey includes a PhD in Marine Environmental and Engineering from National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan. His teaching, research, and outreach program is dedicated to marine renewable energy policy, sustainable development, marine ecology security and maritime security. His research portfolio encompasses assessments of marine environmental linkages, the role of natural resources and ecology security, climate change and marine environmental conservation policy, and tradeoffs in decision making about environmental management.
