Sang Joon Lee is a professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Pohang University of Science and Technology. He completed his PhD studies in mechanical engineering at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), and has been awarded the Fellowship of the American Physical Society (2014). He has published numerous papers in journals on biofluid mechanics, hemodynamics, and wind engineering. His teaching disciplines include fluid mechanics, bioengineering, and aerodynamics, and his interests include biofluid flow and biomimic technology, hemodynamics and hemorheology, microfluidics and advanced flow visualization, flow control, as well as bluff body aerodynamics and wind engineering.
