The usage of encrypted messages has a long history. Today, however, we are able to maintain the security and privacy of information, which is essential to current research in encryption. Encrypted information also forms a key part of scientific projects that involve human behavior, bank transactions, and economic, political and social phenomena. In this paper, we provide a theoretical overview of various encryption techniques, namely those that range from changes in the position of a letter or word, to word transformations and transposition. It may also include computer algorithms that have binary functions, which produce coding of a message. Thirdly, it encapsulates the latest advances in science, which are used to obtain the maximum objective of an encrypted message, i.e. the secret-coded message. For the latter, algorithms are used to determine quantum calculations. For this study, the concepts and processes that are discussed are based on algorithms. These not only provide security when sending messages, but also security for passwords that are used to decipher and to encrypt. The conclusions in this study examine the current theoretical framework, and propose the usage of methods to prevent online security breaches. These methods are presented in the proposal. Here we also argue that it is possible to achieve a mixture of cryptography algorithms that foster an improved performance and enhance the speed of safe transactions.

Automatic systems that monitor human behaviour for detecting security problems are a challenge today. Previously, our group defined the Horus framework, which is a modular architecture for the integration of multi-sensor monitoring stages. In this work, structure and technologies required for high-level semantic stages of Horus are proposed, and the associated methodological principles established with the aim of recognising specific behaviours and situations. Our methodology distinguishes three semantic levels of events: low level (compromised with sensors), medium level (compromised with context), and high level (target behaviours). The ontology for surveillance and ubiquitous computing has been used to integrate ontologies from specific domains and together with semantic technologies have facilitated the modelling and implementation of scenes and situations by reusing components. A home context and a supermarket context were modelled following this approach, where three suspicious activities were monitored via different virtual sensors. The experiments demonstrate that our proposals facilitate the rapid prototyping of this kind of systems.
This article presents a new training model that uses social networks integrated in a Moodle environment through a plug-in called Glesone. The plug-in is a piece of software built to provide the moodle platform with possibilities of facebook-style comments. This feature, more than solely appearance, allows the possibility to evolve from virtual learning environments to social networks of learning. This change implies several methodological considerations organized in a reference model. The software is used in an Ecuadorian university. In this paper, some results are presented and as an early conclusion we found that comments per theme format offer the most suitable learning environment due to the organization and structure of the content and the class.
Emotion analysis is a key variable in textual analysis, namely that which focuses on detecting, separating or extracting information related to human attitudes and feelings-such as opinions or value judgments. This research paper aims to identify through a combination of techniques the human feelings and emotions of university students when selecting suitable (Open) Educational Resources in a Systems Engineering degree course. Although this research is only currently in its developmental stage, it provides some conclusions about the state of the art as well as details of future works that will be carried out in the field of emotion analysis in an online environment.
