Prof. Pavel Nesterenko holds a position of Leading Researcher in the Laboratory of Adsorption and Gas Chromatography at the Department of Chemistry M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University. Received MSc (1979) in petroleum chemistry and organic catalysis, PhD (1984) and DSc degrees (2000) in analytical chemistry from M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University (Moscow, Russia). Senior Researcher (1988), Leading Researcher (2001) and Professor of Analytical Chemistry (2003). In 2006-2018 was awarded Quantum Leap Professor and New Star Professor positions at Australian Centre for Research on Separation Science (ACROSS) and worked at the University of Tasmania, Hobart, Australia. Author of more than 380 scientific publications including 4 books, 14 Chapters in books, 350 regular papers and 13 patents. Research interests are associated with development and investigation of new advanced materials with focus on their selectivity and efficiency for various separation and detection technologies.
