Dr George Kotsias [GK] is a Physicist, with a M.Sc. in Atmospheric Sciences and Environment and a PhD in Climatology and Meteorology from the University of Ioannina, Greece. His main scientific interests are the study of the Mediterranean climate and the changes it experiences during the ongoing climate change, weather forecasting and modeling. He has 10 publications in international scientific journals (h-index=6, citations 95, excluding self-citation, source: Scopus) and 7 oral/poster presentations at international conferences. Today, GK is employed at the ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence in the position of remote sensing data synergy scientist.
