Geng Chen received the B.S. degree in electronic information engineering and the M.S. degree in communication and information system from Shandong University of Science and Technology, Qingdao, China, in 2007 and 2010, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in information and communications engineering from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2015. He is currently an Associate Professor with the College of Electronic and Information Engineering, Shandong University of Science and Technology, Qingdao, China. His current research interests are in the areas of heterogeneous networks, ubiquitous networks and software defined mobile networks, with emphasis on wireless resource management and optimization algorithms, and precoding algorithms in large scale MIMO.
