Prof. Dr. Jian Peng received his Ph.D. in Chemical Process Machinery Engineering from Nanjing University of Technology in 2014. From November 2014 to date, he has been a lecturer, associate professor, and professor in the Department of Process Equipment and Control Engineering at Changzhou University. From October 2019 to September 2020, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Bristol. He is engaged in research on structural integrity and reliability, mechanical properties of advanced materials and structures, and advanced testing methods for nano-samples. He has presided over two National Natural Science Foundation projects, participated in three National Natural Science Foundation projects, and undertaken more than 10 provincial and ministerial projects and corporate R&D projects.
