Prof. Zengqiang Cao has long been engaged in the research on long-life aircraft service technologies. In 1999, the team successfully developed China's first engineered medium-voltage electromagnetic riveting equipment. In 2009, he successfully developed a mobile low-voltage electromagnetic riveting equipment, which has reached the international advanced level and was a leader in China’s electromagnetic riveting industry. In recent years, he has undertaken many key projects in the development of new military aircraft and large aircraft. The series of electromagnetic riveting equipment developed has been widely used in the aviation field.
